Careers With Medical Home Care Professionals

At Medical Home Care Professionals, we not only love to help patients—but we love to help those who have embarked on the rewarding (and sometimes very challenging) career in the medical field. We have built not only a business— but a family that is dedicated to serving our incredible team as well as Shasta County.

Medical Home Care Professionals was established in 1985 by our founder/owner/CEO Kathy McKillop who is a nurse by trade. Her passion to care for patients at home came from her days in the hospital caring for patients and realized that people do so much better when they can be cared for at home. She cared for a patient in the hospital who had ALS and was young and she helped her get home and Kathy was able to recruit other nurses to help her care for the patient so she didn’t have to be in the hospital and could have a better life at home. From this one patient that she treated and cared for at home came the idea to treat other patients at home for after-care from injury, surgery, and many other diagnoses.

Since Medical Home Care Professionals’ inception, people have been at the heart of all we do. We believe in not only taking care of patients but those who make Medical Home Care Professionals be what it is today: one of the best home care providers in the county! So what career options does MHCP have for you? Keep reading to find out!
